have changed my life!
When my treatment started just over two and a half years ago, I had already had braces twice (with terrible results) and was suffering from daily headaches and migraines. Not to mention that I rarely smiled, and my self confidence was low when I did smile. When I found out that the best option for treatment was “reverse” braces (creating two 7 mm gaps on either side of my front teeth) and implants, I wasn’t exactly thrilled. Dr. Kupeyan explained that this treatment would not only fix my teeth but it would help with headaches and migraines. I don’t think I have the words to thank Dr. K and Mara. Mara took care of the orthodontic portion of the treatment; she was kind, patient, and always answered my 'stupid' questions with words that I could understand.
No pain, no gain was our motto, and she definitely made the process a lot easier and I’ll even admit now a little bit fun. She truly cared about the outcome of my procedure and explained everything she was doing and why. The fact that she was willing to come in on a Saturday for an appointment speaks volumes about the care and dedication that the staff at the office have for their patients. Three years ago you wouldn’t have caught a big toothy smile on my face, now I can’t stop smiling, my teeth are constantly on display. Mirrors are my new best friend and on top of that my headaches are gone! I never expected that the results would not only change my teeth but would also change the shape of my face in ways that I never would have imagined. Not only is Dr. K outstanding in what he does, his office staff go above and beyond too. Sue and Dana would juggle appointments for me, changing them to work with my schedule.
Jana was always there for a few moral boosting words when I needed them the most. Cheryl and Lisa held my hands through all the hard parts (including multiple impressions!) Now I have people stop me on the street and tell me how beautiful my teeth are, I never dreamed I would be that girl. I would recommend Dr. K to anyone in need of reconstructive dentistry. I wasn’t a fan of the dentist three years ago, now I miss my every two weeks appointment. I will continue to go to Dr. K for any dentistry I will ever need in the future, not that I will need much more than a cleaning because they’ve done such a wonderful job! I can’t tell you how thankful I am to laugh without my teeth falling out. The bones in my jaws were badly deteriorating. No amount of adhesive would allow me to eat without it oozing into my mouth.
The decision to get implants was not difficult when I knew it was my survival solution. I had a hard time because I had to have bone transplanted from my hip to my face. After the healing and the transplants were secure, the team work of Dr. Kupeyan made being able to eat again and having a wonderful smile a very pleasant and remarkable experience.

Along with that winning smile comes regular dental care, and Dr. Kupeyan’s staff is the best. For me Cheryl maintains my teeth with excellent care and keeps my smile on track. Each time I cross the border into Canada for a dental visit, the border control asks the nature of my visit, and when I tell them that I am having a dental check-up they look puzzled. They ask if there aren’t dentists in the city where I live. I respond by telling them that there are plenty of dentists, but Dr. Kupeyan does business in Windsor, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else - it’s worth the drive - then I flash a smile at them. So far it gets me across the border!"

"I feel more confident when eating and smiling since I have had this dental treatment. I am a lot more comfortable than when I was wearing dentures. My advice to others would be to not be afraid to have treatment done as the dental team makes you feel very welcome. They will show you around the office on your first visit.
I thought Dr. Kupeyan and his team were very professional, friendly and easy to talk to. I enjoyed the experience of having the treatment although it seemed long, it is worth it in the end. I felt I was in good hands and they explained each stage what they were doing.
The staff on reception was lovely and put you at ease, as nobody likes going to the dentist. They are a good team and work together well.
I would like to add that you are never told by ordinary dentists about bone loss. I went to three different dentists with problems and they never said that I had bone loss and they just kept on making me new dentures with different linings. You would think they would know about this being dentists. I was never referred to anybody else until I came to Canada. It is a pity to go down this road and never be told especially when you are in pain." -
